We Help You Build a Wedding Day from Scratch on a Private Property

At home weddings are unique, intimate and wonderful!

Congrats on your engagement and your probably near the start or just getting into the wedding planning.

There is so much research, ideas, blogs and family opinions on how to have your wedding day that it can become overwhelming.

You have landed on our website and let us tell you this site is designed for people who are excited and have a dream of a wedding on the family/friends property.

Next comes the lump in your throat.  How, what do I need, will it work on the property and the list goes on.

We at Ty's desire to walk you through the process.  Yes we have a list of services but more importantly our wish is that you would have a clear understanding of what it takes to have a successful wedding day.  Our experience is worth almost as much as the services we offer.

One of the 1st steps is to select a property and determine if it will hold your estimated guest count.  Parking, tent/structures, power supply, ceremony spot, get read area, access for vendor vehicles.  We perform property visits to determine from our experience if its possible.

During our phone calls, emails and property visits we ask you what vision you have for the day and a simple list of services your interested in.

Most of our couples need a tent and to find the right size we ask more questions about the guest count, dinner, dancing and extra displays you may have.  Then we give you a recommendation that create a comfortable space for your guests and activities.

One point that we stress is that you can't control the weather.  Many couples when planning consider the entire property for their big day which is very understandable.  The fact is there is a chance poor weather could come on the day and the wonderful spaces that were created will be of no use.  That's why we say plan for everything under the tent so then when the weather looks good you move out to the spaces other then the tent on the property.  (Key facts to remember)

After the structure size has been established we go over items under the tent and outside like lighting, tables, chairs, linens, high tops, restroom trailer.  This ensures you have the essential items to make the day happen.

Next comes the add-ons which can differ with each couple and vision.  Dance floor, catering options, trash cleanup, power generation, shuttle van and much more.  We have many add-on items and they all enhance the wedding day by making things easier for you and your guests.

We also offer professional services like photography, videography, sound systems and coordination.  Our vendor coordinator package is a wonderful new addition where we take charge of all your other vendors besides us.  This is the icing on the cake and truly helps solve problems before they happen and makes your live super easy on the big day.

Finally after we have talked about all the options it's time for you to discuss your budget and see what you would like to hire us for.  We're big on service which means we transport and setup everything we offer.  Our teams work together and know what to expect because we do so much!

We serve 2-3 locations a weekend with many services not hundreds of locations with few services like other rental companies.  We also focus on outdoor weddings and have designed our services after that.  Our goal is to help you create a wonderful wedding day and then come along side on the big day serving in many ways.

Hope to talk with you soon!

We're honored and thankful for every weekend we serve!

The bride has just come down the aisle, the pastor is getting ready for the vows, the groomsman and bridesmaids are quietly supporting, and the family and guests are intently looking forward during this very special time.

Everyone knows the commitment is for life.  Our job at Ty's allows us to be a part of the biggest day of two peoples lives every weekend!  We truly enjoy it!

A wedding story that almost didn't happen

It all started with a phone call from the bride's mother.  She was starting the process of finding vendors for her daughter and future son-in law.  The bride's mother and father built their home back in the late 80's and raised all their children there.  It was important for the bride to have her wedding at home.

They all wanted the day to be super special, and when we visited the property months prior, it was a joy to hear all their plans.  They needed a tent, tables, chairs, tent lighting, power for the lights and sound equipment, ceremony sound and reception sound, restroom trailer, dinner, clean-up, and much more.

We were excited to help them, and the wedding day came quickly.  We were the first ones on site and almost the last to leave.  After dinner was completed and the dance was well underway, the mother of the bride came to us and talked.  She was overwhelmed with how well everything was going and was taking time to appreciate all the little moments.  The wedding day goes by very quickly, and it's important after all the hard work to stand back and take it all in.

The mother also let us know that it was a miracle the wedding day was actually happening.  A few short years ago the bride was diagnosed with cancer and was not likely to live.  The mom and dad were not only thankful for the marriage that was about to begin, but they also remembered back when they thought about all the things their daughter would be missing if she had not made it.

While serving the family and guests we could tell something was a little different.  Everyone knew the story of the bride and groom.  It wasn't an easy start when they were dating, but they made it and were stronger because of it.  The guests were all there to celebrate and encourage them in the years to come.

The day is about the people.  The family and friends all had parts to play in bride and groom's lives or the lives of their close family.  Its good to pause in our busy lives and get back to what really matters.  Weddings are a relaxing break and time to be with the people you care about.

There is a story with every couple and family we meet.  It's an honor to serve, and sometimes there are stories behind the stories that make the day even more of a celebration.  We at Ty's have the privilege to serve and be there with them.
