Helpful Tips
We like to see the restroom 40'-200' away from the event space. Any closer and it's just to close and not private. Further gets to be quite the trip. The restroom on average needs 150 gallons of fresh water. Our hoses hookup to a water supply and then are disconnected after the internal take of the restroom is filled. In regards to power it's best to have two or three separate dedicated 15-20 amp lines (3,300 watts minimum). We supply the 100' cords and if power is not available within that distance or available in general then we suggest our restroom power package.
Thankful For The Restroom Trailer
Yes, we had to share one because it's a service your guests will rave about.
Typically the summer months are warm, and one late July weekend the temperature was up to 102 degrees F at the time of the ceremony. Sweaty guests were mingling under the trees before the ceremony started. A few of the elderly were quite warm and needed extra care. We offered the clean restroom trailer as an option for them to sit and relax a bit. Two of the rooms are large enough for an extra chair, so for about 15 minutes, the rooms were occupied by guests enjoying the cool 68 degrees.
Another story started in mid October. The day was cool but wonderful. The wedding day was set at a cabin property with a large tent, games, and bonfires in the evening. The temperature dropped to 45 degrees in the evening, and the guests who forgot to dress for the weather found the restroom trailer was a nice 75 degrees with warm water in the sinks. It was a unexpected delight for the guests to enjoy.
The most common story we hear is that the guests thanked the couple and family over and over for the nice facilities. They are always amazed at how nice and comfortable the restroom trailer is. When you are dressed up enjoying an outdoor wedding, having some luxury goes a long way.
