Ty's Planning Guide: Feel Confident Hosting Your Dream Backyard Tent Wedding
Ever wonder what our answer would be if someone asked what are the hardest things you have seen past couples and families go through when hosting a backyard wedding? Most companies don't put this out there but look we did!
-Obsession with checking the weather.
-Doing to much themselves.
-Saying it will be fine just to cut costs on something that really effects the guest experience.
-Putting the wrong family or friend in charge of something and then they totally forget or botch it.
-Waiting until the last minute to plan the ceremony.
-Wearing clothing made for an Air conditioned room.
-Property owners trying to finish project the morning of the wedding day.
-Planning everything around a 70 degree day, partly sunny, and low humidity.
-Forgetting there could be wind blowing through an open air tent, making decor, plastic wine glasses fall on the ground.
-Making every decision run through one person.
-Not having a point person/day of coordinator/vendor coordinator.
How about what couples may not realized about working with us (Ty's)
-The weather can change our set up window. We don't give exact times of arrival.
-We use a loader that drives on your property. It's quite nice on the grass but there will be wear and tear due to all the equipment and your guests.
-We're picky about our equipment. So will need approval on any items you wish to attach to any of our equipment.
-We don't allow fires with-in 75' of the tent.
-If sidewalls are needed they're installed on the wedding day not before.
-We don't know where your sprinkler lines or heads are.
-You must locate all private utilities.
-The restroom trailer seldom goes off road.
-We're on site for part or most of the wedding day depending on the services you book.
-Our experience becomes a valuable asset to you.
-Having someone do most of the work feels great!
