Catering Planner: Vendor Coordination & Logistics Management
Catering planner
Serving hundreds of weddings has taught us thing or two about planning a meal for a backyard wedding.
First we ask questions on your meal preferences. Buffet, plated, or food truck. Maybe a combination. Then we offer a few suggestions on who we think would be a good fit. The final decision is up to you but we double check that everything is covered so you're not missing a thing.

Vendor Coordination
When your wedding involves multiple vendors, keeping everyone on the same page can feel overwhelming. That's where we come in. With over 10 years of experience managing weddings and event logistics across Minnesota and Wisconsin, we're here to set in.
Prior to the wedding day:
Once your vendors are booked it's time to send us all the details. We look over it and give suggestions as needed.
About 10 days before the wedding, we’ll review each vendor’s responsibilities, confirm timelines, and answer any questions you may have. We’ll then reach out to each vendor to introduce ourselves as their primary point of contact.
On the wedding day we will:
-Welcome each vendor who arrives after 10am.
-Show them where to go, park, logistics.
-Answer questions.
-Problem solve if an issue comes up.
-Monitor vendor timelines.
-Make small changes as needed.
-Big changes will need approval from you first.
-Instruct vendors as needed.
What we don't do:
-Tell the vendors exactly how to do their job.
-Help them perform their job.
-Work with non vendors/family.
-Set up decor or displays for you.
-Monitor your timeline or family/friend/guests.
We look forward to answering your questions!

Couples love this service because if frees them (and family) to enjoy the day without interruptions, decision making, problem solving, and added stress being the main contact person. More relaxing and less work.
Vendors are thankful because there is one clear point of contact without interrupting the couple or family, keeps thing on track, helps with transitions, adjusts the timeline when things shift, problem solves without panic, clear set up and breakdown instructions.
When there is a vendor coordinator the day runs smoother, the couple and family are more relaxed, communication is easier, and every vendor does their best work.
Another huge bonus is that we (Ty's) is already so involved. We know the venue and will be on site days before the actual wedding. This helps us gather important details prior to the day which might lend to suggestions or updates to the vendors.
