A Day in the Life

No two days are exactly the same, the locations, equipment booked, weather and logistics mean this is not a typical 9-5 job, but here’s what a typical workday often looks like:

Morning

  • Meet at our shop or designated location

  • Load tents, tables, chairs, and equipment onto trucks

  • Review the day’s layout, timeline, and site details with the team

On Site

  • Travel to a backyard or outdoor event location

  • Set up tents, tables, chairs, and event layouts as a team

  • Work efficiently while paying attention to details and safety

  • Interact professionally with homeowners, couples, and vendors

  • Adjust to weather demands and unforeseen delays

During the Event (Typically two days later)

  • Possibly deliver additional equipment

  • Set up equipment like chairs, tables, and possibly more

  • On site to assist with adjustments, weather changes, or guest needs

  • Bussing of reception tables for disposables.

  • Support vendors and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes

  • Be a calm, helpful presence so the couple can enjoy their day

After the Wedding

  • Tear down and load equipment

  • Touch base with clients and thank them while listening for ideas on how we can improve

  • Return items to the shop and prep for the next event

  • Head home knowing you helped create a meaningful, once‑in‑a‑lifetime day

You’ll be active, outdoors, and part of a team — with clear direction and support throughout the day.

You Won't be the Same

  • This may be an in-between stage of your life but there is an unexpected side effect when working with us

  • You will gain lifelong customer service skills, serving people on their most important day.

  • You will wear multiple hats and learn self-motivation.

  • You will learn about yourself and gain valuable life skills experience.

  • You will be on the front lines, experiencing the service/product with our clients.

  • It's about the people we serve, how can we support them better, encourage them, educate them, while providing all our rentals.

  • You have the opportunity to ask us questions about life, work, purpose, business, marketing, web design, accounting, customer service, freelancing, communications, and more. It's an added bonus you can utilize or not.

  • You potential is unknown, we will push it and help you grow!

You’ll be active, outdoors, and part of a team — with clear direction and support throughout the day.

We Have an Idea of What You're going Through

  • When I graduated college I remember being so excited to be done! New chapter, freedom, get on with life. I was going to miss my friends and college culture but wanted to make a huge difference.

  • The possibilities are endless and where do I start came to mind. Where is the perfect job where I can shine and use my abilities and training from school.

  • You soon find out most companies want more experience or offer low paying positions that may not give you the experience you feel is needed to move you forward.

  • It's easy to get (Me) focused and loose track on what work is all about. Family friends will be asking so what are your big plans? Frightening a bit right? Just be honest and if they offer any tips make a mental note..because they have experience you can learn for free.

  • Experience comes with time. It almost doesn't matter what job you have but time teaches you, and gives you new skills and insights.

  • Do you really know yourself or what really gets you excited? Maybe but working in between jobs gives you insights on yourself which is extremely important.

  • Working with us helps you build soft skills along with technical skills. The best part is that you can get paid while being able to look for full time work. We care about your development and like we said above the time you have with us will last a lifetime!
